Designers Note
Chapaza is a bold, hand-drawn display font with a playful and energetic style. Its uneven strokes and rough edges give it a dynamic, graffiti-like appearance, perfect for designs seeking a streetwise or urban vibe. Ideal for posters, logos, and headlines, Chapaza adds strong visual impact and character to any creative project.
Chapaza is a new serif font, which was inspired by the work of master penman, Charles Paxton Zaner.
The font includes the entire 'Basic Latin' and 'Latin-1 Supplement' Unicode blocks, as well as a reasonable selection from 'Latin Extended-A'.
The font is free to use for personal projects, but requires a licence for commercial purposes. The licence is $5 (US) and can be paid by clicking the 'donate' button. An italic variation is in the pipeline, which will be ready within the next few weeks. This will be sent free of charge to anyone who purchases the licence. To ensure you receive a copy, or to see a preview of the italic before committing to a purchase, please email me separately at
