Designers Note
Grand Hotel is an elegant, script-style typeface inspired by vintage signage and classic calligraphy. With its flowing curves, subtle flourishes, and refined letterforms, it evokes a sense of timeless sophistication and charm. Ideal for logos, invitations, branding, or any design seeking a touch of nostalgic glamour, Grand Hotel adds a distinctive, handcrafted elegance to both digital and print projects.
Grand Hotel finds its inspiration from the title screen of the 1937 film "Cafe Metropole" starring Tyrone Power. This condensed upright connecting script has a classic vibe to it.
It has a wonderful weight to it that feels subtly tied to Holiday and Bakery themed designs, even though it can work outside that genre.
