Griezelig is a delightfully spooky handwritten font, perfect for Halloween themes, horror projects, or eerie invitations. Its uneven, slightly shaky strokes evoke haunted vibes, while maintaining readability. Ideal for posters, logos, and creepy designs seeking playful yet chilling aesthetics.
I love creating fairytale fonts, but for some reason I haven’t made one for quite a while. So, without further ado, I present Griezelig! Griezelig in Dutch means ‘scary’ or ‘creepy’. The word itself even looks kind of creepy!
Griezelig was loosely based on two of my favourite (but unfortunately rather inconspicuous) fonts called Hexenhammer and Bronwen.
